Take:
Wow! Hot
damn. I have the super huge addiction to all things Greek mythology. I named my
cats Nyx… So suffice to say, when I was approached with the opportunity to read
and review this book, I may or may not have jumped on and down in my computer
chair.
The story
was epic and the characters beautifully crafted. But truly mare than the story
& its memorable characters, I fell in love with the writing style. It was seamless
and poetic. I was fully enthralled from page one, so much so that I may or may
not have read both books back to back at night with no care in the word sleep.
I have no
complaints with the story other than, I want book 3 right now. Patience is
definitely not one of my strong points and those cliff hanger endings can
really drive a girl mad.
I didn’t
even mind the divergence from real Greek mythology much. It helped to mold the
story and make it unique plus I kinda sorta maybe love Kai aka Kryllios <3.

But be warned you have a too hot to handle broody God or the Underworld, a
sassy Goddess turned Human, Titans and nerdy humans. If that’s not enough, you’ve
also got a shit ton of twists & turns and some pretty stellar cliff
hangers.
Book 3
where are you?!? I even had to read book 2.5 ‘A Date of Godlike Proportions’ to
get my fix…. But it didn’t work!
