Wicked Series by Nancy Holder & Debbie Viguie Spotlight + #Giveaway! #TipsySpooktacular

Welcome back lovelies! Today we're doing a Spotlight on one of my favorite series.

The Wicked Series is one I picked up around 9 or so years ago. After reading the Witch & Curse compilation I was hooked. The next weekend I moseyed on over to Barnes & Noble and bought the next compilation and devoured it. The I freaked out because there was no book 5, no prospective release date and no definitive news stating that there even WOULD be a book 5. I followed the news as frequently as I could. The book got the red light and I calmed down some, excited to know that there would be an ending soon... but in true fashion, I forgot to jot down the release date.

Then one day, I was browsing the selves and I saw it. It was a no brainier, so I added it to my every growing pile of books that made even the employees look at me funny (I'm super short, 5'0 ft short and the book pile reached my chin when held directly in front of me. I know this cause there may or may not be a picture xD).

This series, single-handedly got me into this type of paranormal books. I couldn't stop ready all the 'witchy' books I could find. I loved how the story while completely original did include some aspects of actual pagan lore. Its a really interesting series full of emotional highs and lows and lots of unexpected twists & turns.

This is my first spotlight of the month and its a book series I loved and completely recommend. Don't be surprised if you get invested in the characters, or if you get angry with them, besides the whole magic and paranormal aspects they do come off as realistic.
