Book Description:
Seventeen-year-old
Morgan Daniel has been in the witness protection program most of her life. But
The Panteras have caught up with her and her younger brother. Her car is
totaled, she's hurt, and the street gang is closing in when wolves with glowing
eyes appear out of nowhere and chase away the killers.
Then a very
cute guy who handles a bow like Robin Hood emerges from the woods and takes
them to safety at his fortress-like home.
And that's
just the first sign that Morgan and her brother have entered a hidden world
filled with secrets...
My Take
on the Book:
Omg that was
sooo freaking cute!
That was an all-around
cute and sweet book that is definitely on the short side as far as books go. It’s
not a book with very many chapters and each chapter is relatively short. I
finished reading the book within a couple of hours with multiple breaks being
made do to ‘tia Tiffany’ duties and food.
While this is
not a book I had too much of a struggle putting down, I found that I really
enjoyed reading it and the interactions between characters. I especially loved
all the magical aspects. My only true complaint was the pace of the story…. While
I feel like the author did a great job telling the story and introducing all
the characters, I found the pace was a little iffy. It’s not that the writing
or the story were too fast or too slow… oh contraire, it was really well paced
in that respect but I did feel like there was a decent amount of the story
missing… parts I would have liked to see with more interaction between Jackson
and Morgan. Every character was spot on and believable.

Take a chance
on this book because I think it’s worth the time a perfect for those ‘I need
something to read, but nothing too hefty’ moments. The Hunter’s Moon is a promising
start to what I’m sure is going to be an addicting series!

my love of herbs and heirloom plants figures into my work. The rich history of
Virginia, the Native Americans and the people who journeyed here from far
beyond her borders are at the heart of my inspiration. In addition to American
settings, I also write historical and time travel romances set in the British
